About the Teacher
Nikki Leaf has been teaching yoga since 1987 and was
co-director of the Fremantle Yoga Centre for over twenty
years. She has long held a special interest in the role of
Yoga during the many challenging phases of a woman’s life.
Yoga provides a supportive framework to maintain balance
through the many physical and emotional transformations
taking place within the body. From the onset of menstruation
through pregnancy and childbirth, and later to the passage
of menopause.
Pre/Post Natal Yoga
Nikki was inspired to begin teaching yoga to pregnant
women after her own positive pregnancy experience. Her
daily practice bought about an acceptance to trust in the
process of pregnancy and a confidence in her own body’s
ability to give birth.
